Each year in January, volunteers are gathered to serve within several Manhattan-area organizations to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

To ensure the safety of our team and our volunteers, we have decided to cancel this event. Registered volunteers will receive an email soon. We are working to determine whether a reschedule date is possible and will email registrants directly and publicize the reschedule date if it occurs.
We encourage K-Staters and our local community members to look ahead to the K-State MLK Week of Observance schedule, and find more ways to participate.
When?
MLK Day of Service takes place on a Saturday in January, usually once the first week of the spring semester classes have began at K-State and students have returned to Manhattan.

Where?
The event kicks off at the Leadership Studies building with breakfast and a program for all volunteers. Then, volunteers travel to various organizations in Manhattan to serve.
Who?
All members of the K-State and local community are invited.
