Join IMHOTEP in celebrating graduating students tonight

Submitted by Brandon Clark

Join the K-State IMHOTEP Black Male Initiative Graduating Recognition to celebrate its graduating members this year. The event will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 1, in the Rooms 204 and 205 of the Morris Family Multicultural Center.

The meeting will serve as an opportunity to recognize the graduating IMHOTEP scholars. The following students will be graduating this year: Jordan Austin, Tristan Davis, Danson Kariuki, Leonard McFadden, Camden Mayfield, Cameron Key, Christopher Burrell, Bryan Hill, Reginald Russell and Wanya Thompson.

The K-State IMHOTEP Black Male Initiative was founded in 2016 and is a mentoring program for K-State's Black male students. IMHOTEP seeks to increase the success of Black males by focusing on retention, persistence, community uplift, cultural enrichment, career or graduate school placement, and degree completion.
