Notes of Romance: A Valentine's Day concert with the Friends of the Libraries

Submitted by Cailin Riley

Three concerts remain in the Hale Library Concert Series 2019-20 season, and the next concert is sure to be a dazzling affair, perfect for a one-of-a-kind date night.

The K-State Faculty Brass Quintet, and Slawomir Dobrzanski, piano, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at St. Isidore's Catholic Student Center. Members of the quintet include Paul Hunt, trombone; Jacqueline Fassler-Kerstetter, horn; John Kilgore, trumpet; Steve Maxwell, tuba; and Craig Parker, trumpet.

The concert will be followed by a decadent wine, appetizer and dessert reception. Please join us to celebrate a night of music and romance.

Tickets are $30 each, or $10 for students. Purchase tickets by calling 785-775-2146; the deadline to get your tickets is Feb. 5. For more information, please contact Darchelle Martin, K-State Libraries director of communications and marketing, at martin05@k-state.edu or 785-532-7442.
