If you are new to KSIS, this page is for you. Below are links for how to get access, some helpful tips, and training information for new users.
Before training can occur for administrative processes in KSIS, employees must be authorized for access to the areas covered in the training sessions. If you do not already have the appropriate access, see the details below on how to obtain it for the desired role.
How to Get Access to KSIS
Students, faculty, academic advisors, and staff get access to specific KSIS features based on their role at the university. Designees (parents or others) are granted access to their student's information in KSIS by their student.
For new access or additional roles to your KSIS access following the guidance in the appropriate section via the KSIS Security Form.
Advisors need a K-State eID and a current password to sign in to KSIS. If you do not have a K-State eID,register here. If you have a K-State eID, make sure it has beenverified.
Download and complete the KSIS Security Form. Submit the form with the appropriate approval signatures. Keep in mind that access to KSIS will require you have sucessfully completed the appropriate training items before security can be granted.
KSIS training is available to advisors at no charge, but registration is required. See theKSIS Trainingpage for details.
K-State students can grant a designee (a parent or other person) access to their financial information in KSIS. Students must initiate the process from within their KSIS account.
You will need a K-State electronic ID (eID) and your current password to sign into KSIS.
Once your student initiates the process in KSIS, you will receive an email from the IT Help Desk with a link to create your eID and password.
After you have created your eID and password, the student must confirm your access to KSIS.
After your student confirms your access in KSIS, you will receive an email from the IT Help Desk to notify you that you can now log into KSIS.
To log into KSIS, open a web browser and type KSIS.ksu.edu. Log in with your K-State eID and current password.
If you can log into KSIS but do not have access to the information you need, contact your student.

Faculty, instructors, and teaching assistants are granted access to KSIS through an automated process that is based on your position code in HRIS.

If instructor access needs to be provided in KSIS to GTAs or other staff, download and complete the KSIS Security Form. Submit the form with the appropriate approval signatures.

If you cannot see a class in your Faculty Center, contact your department's Class Scheduler and request to be added as an instructor to the class.
