Spring 2021 Update

KAWSE takes health and safety very seriously. In light of the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, our spring 2021 events will be offered virtually. KAWSE staff will also be working remotely, so our physical office location remains closed until further notice. However, we can be contacted Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM by emailing kawse@k-state.edu. We appreciate your understanding.

The SUCCEED program creates opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students of all genders to flourish in science, technology, engineering, and math, or STEM, fields. We offer multiple events each semester including:

  • Networking and Professional Development opportunities - learn from and connect with peers and professionals. Events include Career Chats, graduate student social hours, and professional development workshops.
  • Employment opportunities - serve as a mentor during our Saturday or Summer Workshops!
  • Volunteer opportunities - let a high-schooler shadow you for a "day-in-the-life" of a student in a STEM major; join our student Ambassadors groups, represent KAWSE at community events and more!

Summer Mentors 2016

Not sure if your major is considered STEM? You might be surprised! We partner with the Colleges of Agriculture, APDesign, Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Health and Human Sciences and Veterinary Medicine. You can also view a list of supported majors/programs.
