Young Writers' Workshop

June 24-28, 2024

Young Writers WorkshopUnlock your creativity ...

If you love to tell stories,

if you scribble poems,

if you write essays,

apply to the Young Writers’ Workshop!

For one week on the campus of Kansas State University, work with experienced teachers, dig into your imagination, and command the language to create original, inventive works of writing.

Meet with published writers -- slam poets, graphic novelists, oral historians, and playwrights -- who will share advice on where to get ideas, how to get going, and why they write.

Join us for a week of creative immersion!

NOTE: The 2024 workshop will be held in person at the Beach Museum, unless health restrictions require a virtual modality.
