Winner: 2019 Kyle Pelton Student Employee of the Year

Lai Receives Student Employee of the Year Honor from K-State, State of Kansas

April 10, 2019 — Kansas State University student employees, supervisors, family and friends gathered April 10 to recognize more than 70 K-Staters who were nominated for the Kyle Pelton Student Employee of the Year award.

Shortly following the recognition of the over 70 nominees, Po-Yu “Tony” Lai, student worker for the Department of Animal Sciences and Industry, was named the 2019 Kyle Pelton Student Employee of the Year. Lai is junior in Animal Sciences and Industry, and from Taiwan. The K-State Career Center has also been notified that Lai was selected for the state of Kansas' Student Employee of the Year award as well.

Lai was selected for his exceptional reliability, quality of work, initiative, professionalism and adherence to the principles of the Wildcat Way.
