Auditions

We are excited to begin the audition process for this year’s 2026 K-State drumline! While video auditions will be accepted, it is strongly preferred that all students attend the in-person audition. The in-person setting allows for a more complete evaluation of your playing, technique, and ability to perform within the ensemble. Please prepare a primary and secondary audition to increase your chances of earning a spot on the drumline.
Please fill out the registration form prior to your arrival to the event or submitting a video audition.
In-person auditions will take place on May 23rd at the Tracz Family Band Hall.
If you are unable to attend in person, you may submit a video audition. All video submissions must be
completed and turned in by:

May 20th, 2026 at 11:59 PM

Please ensure that your video clearly demonstrates all required audition materials and is recorded in a way that allows for accurate assessment (good audio quality, clear visibility of hands and technique, etc.). The Video Audition Requirements are listed below
