Yes, until May 17 at 5 p.m. Please keep visiting and eating ice cream at Call Hall! Entering the dairy bar will be the same as always from the glass entry doors by the outdoor patio. Parking will be limited in the existing area on the Southwest side.

The Call Hall Dairy Bar will be temporarily closed starting at 5 pm on May 17. The dairy bar will reopen in the new Global Center for Grain and Food Innovation. To learn more about the temporary closure, view this video by Anthony Fink, Food Service Manager of the Call Hall Dairy Bar.

Yes. Meat sales will continue to happen weekly. The driveway behind the meat lab will still be accessible for pickups but instead of turning around, buyers will need to back-up the driveway hill. Learn more about the meat sales here.

Weber Arena demolition started in April 2024 so new construction can start on the Global Center for Grain and Food Innovation.

No. Claflin road through campus will remain open during the demolition of Weber Arena and construction of the new Global Center for Grain and Food Innovation. Large trucks and construction equipment will be traveling through campus. Drivers and students walking should be cautious at all times.

Yes but minimally. There will be a driveway added on Mid-Campus Drive and in the West Call Hall Parking lot for construction trucks to enter the fenced in area. There will also be fencing blocking off the parking lot directly north of Weber hall next to the Chilling and Recycling Plant. A graphic showing the parking lots affected is included here.

Yes. Shellenberger Hall is scheduled for demolition after the completion of the new Global Center for Grain and Food Innovation to ensure faculty, staff and students will have spaces for teaching and research before Shellenberger Hall gets demolished.

No. Call and Weber Hall will not be torn down but instead both buildings will be renovated as a part of the Ag Innovation Initiative. More information on those renovations can be found here.
