Submit ACT/SAT scores
K-State is test optional, which means admission can be granted using other academic information. However, some scholarships and awards for freshmen require an ACT or SAT. Submit your test scores so that they are received by February 1 of your senior year.
Review advanced standing credit
If you have advanced credit from Advanced Placement (AP), College Level Examination Program (CLEP), DANTES Subject Standardized Test (DSST), International Baccalaureate (IB), or military credit evaluation, see how scores or credit transfer.
Scholarships
K-State offers a number of scholarships for incoming freshmen. Submitting your application for admission triggers an automatic review of your eligibility for general university scholarships and awards, but there are additional opportunities like our competitive scholarships, which require supplemental applications. Apply by the Dec. 1 priority date for full scholarship consideration.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Student financial assistance has many resources to give you confidence as you complete the FAFSA. Our priority FAFSA deadline is March 1.
