Agribusiness is the business associated with the production, processing and distribution of agricultural products. You will learn to apply business strategies and economic principles to solve problems in production, distribution and consumption of agricultural goods and services.
As a graduate of our department you will have the tools to navigate this global industry and the uncertainty inherent in ag production.
Agriculture economics students are encouraged to experience different cultures, languages and industries in a life-changing experience by studying abroad. Our faculty have spanned the globe taking groups of students to South America, China, Australia, New Zealand, Central America, Ireland, the Netherlands and India.
Additionally, you are encouraged to enhance your K-State experience through various student clubs and organizations including the AgEcon/Agbus Club, the National Agri-Marketing Association and The Risk Management Student Fellows.
