This is mandatory training for all employees who are working in areas that contain radioactive materials.

Annual radiation safety training is required for all those working in laboratories that contain radioactive materials. This includes both those handling and not handling radioactive sources. Topics covered include radiation basics, hazards, and safety precautions as well as policies and procedures unique to the Kansas State University Radiation Safety Program.

Training is in Room 011, 108 Edwards Hall and for groups of more than 5 people (as requested). Contact EH&S by phone, 532-5856, or email, safety@ksu.edu, with questions.
