It is common for banks to refuse to complete the financial affidavit form. If your sponsor's bank is not willing to complete the financial institution portion, you will need to request a letter on official bank letterhead stating that your sponsor can support your education in the amount of $32,315.
A notary public is a person who has been licensed to guarantee authenticity on official documents. Your sponsor will need to sign the financial affidavit form in front of a notary public to ensure that the documents are not fraudulent.
The application fee can be paid by personal check, money order or credit card. In certain situations, a credit card can not be used. If this is the case, a money order is the best option for payment.
University policy states that the fee must be paid before the application can be processed.

Undergraduate applicants can be admitted to K-State without a TOEFL score. However, if you choose to apply without submitting a TOEFL score, you will be required to take the English Proficiency Test upon your arrival on campus. The results of the EPT will determine whether you will need additional English training or not.
International student are not required to submit an SAT or ACT score in order to be admitted. However, if you have taken one of these tests, you score will be used as additional support for your application. Also, if you are applying for one of the more specialized programs, such as Architecture or Engineering, it is recommended that you submit one of these test scores.
K-State is located in Manhattan, Kansas. Kansas is the state that is located exactly in the middle of the United States. Manhattan is in the northeast section of the state.
The Office of International Programs is coordinating shuttle rides from the Kansas City International Airport to Manhattan. There is no cost for this service. The exact dates for the shuttle have not been finalized. Once the dates are selected, the information will be available on the International Student Center's website.
Another option for transportation is the "KCI Roadrunner." This is a van service that provides transportation from the Kansas City International airport to Manhattan . This service is $49 per passenger and the payment is your responsibility. You must call them prior to your arrival in Kansas City and request to be picked up. It is recommended that you contact them from home or your port of entry (the first city you enter in the U.S. ).
Since K-State does not require proof of English proficiency in order to be admitted, you can apply as an undergraduate student. However, if you do not provide proof of English proficiency before you arrive, you will be required to take the English Proficiency Test and your test score will be used to determine what level of English or university courses you will be placed in.
It takes approximately two weeks to process an application after ALL application materials are received.

You must submit a current copy of the scholarship letter from your government stating that you have been awarded a full scholarship. The letter must be dated within one year of the date that you wish to begin studying at K-State.

The College of Architecture only admits new students into their program during the Fall semester of each academic year. The final deadline for all applications each year is February 1. ALL application materials must be submitted before this deadline in order for the application to be considered.
