S.N.A.C. (Sensible Nutrition And body image Choices)

SNAC is a student peer education group focused on educating the University community about healthy eating strategies and body image.

    Our Mission:
  • reduce the prevalence of harmful eating attitudes and negative body image
  • provide information on healthy eating and body image choices
  • raise understanding of eating disorders as a complex medical and social problem
  • offer resources and support to those at risk within the University setting
    Presentations are available to any campus group. Call Health Promotion at 785.532.6595 or e-mail snac@k-state.edu to request a FREE presentation.

Currently, peer educators are recruited from the KSU Dietetics, Kinesiology and Human Nutrition degree programs. However, other interested students are welcome to apply to become a SNAC peer educator. Complete the application process if you are interested in becoming a SNAC peer educator!

(Please note: Active recruitment of new members occurs at the beginning of the fall semester. If you submit your application during the spring or summer, your application will be kept on file and you will be notified when new member orientation dates are set.)
