- The S.H.A.P.E. candidate must be willing to
fulfill and follow these criteria guidelines:
- Must currently enroll as a full-time or part-time K-State student.
- Must receive an overall average personal interview rating of 200 or greater.
- Must be able to commit to at least 2 consecutive semesters involvement.
- Must demonstrate leadership skills.
- Must demonstrate appropriate objectivity and open-mindedness.
- Must demonstrate appropriate confrontation skills and conflict resolution skills.
- Must demonstrate appropriate comfort when confronted with scrutiny.
- Must demonstrate appropriate comfort with condom distribution and demonstration.
- Must demonstrate effective time management skills.
- Must demonstrate effective communication skills.
- Must demonstrate effective interpersonal relationship skills.
- Must demonstrate ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Must demonstrate a personal interest and enthusiasm in becoming involved in the program.
- Must be willing to represent Lafene Health Center in a positive way.
