Assistive Listening Devices
A student with a hearing impairment who wishes to use an assistive listening device (or FM listening system) in class may check out a device from the DSS office. Be aware that FM listening systems will not work with all types of hearing aids; the aid must have a jack that will accept the FM listening system plug.
Prior to requesting to check out an assistive listening device from the DSS office, students must be registered with DSS.
Assistive listening devices are also available for use at Bramlage Coliseum, McCain Auditorium, Nichols Theater, and the K-State Union.
