Taking this course may prepare you to teach parents about guidance and discipline in your programs. There are three ways of using this course. By taking it yourself, you can introduce ideas as you meet individually with parents. You can purchase a Responsive Discipline Toolbox deck for each parent. There are many different game-like activities involving the cards you could use with parents to explore discipline options. For example, a parent could name a child’s misbehavior, and then together you could sort through all the cards choosing those that might be combined in a response.
