People Listing Component

The People Listing component provides a flexible, accessible way to present staff profiles. It is designed for consistency across university sites and offers layout options to support a variety of content needs.

Key Features

Easy to edit – Add, remove, or reorder staff entries directly within the component.
Fully accessible – Uses semantic HTML and accessibility best practices.
Multiple layouts – Choose between Grid or List display styles.
Automatic placeholder images – A default image is used when no photo is provided.
Standardized styling – Consistent visual design across departments and units.
Flexible layout switching – Change layout or image display options without recreating content.

This component supports two layouts:

List layout – Best for short bios and more detailed listings
Grid layout – Better when space is limited.

To choose a layout:

Add the component to a page or open the component editor on an existing component.
Select “Grid” or “List” from the style list.
The layout will update automatically.
