Submitted by Communications and Marketing

Three Kansas State University graduate students and three recent graduates have received a Phi Kappa Phi Love of Learning Award

The recipients include Roselle Barretto, doctoral student in biological and agricultural engineering; Rania Marie Buenavista, doctoral student in grain science; and Michael Lowers, doctoral student in educational leadership. Recent graduates Madison Morris, Emily Nottingham and Ganiyat Shodunke also received the award.

The $500 awards help fund postbaccalaureate studies or career development for active Phi Kappa Phi academic honor society members. The society's mission is to recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others. The society distributes 200 awards each year.
