Search chair and search committee roles and responsibilities training updated

Human Capital Services offers electronic search committee and search committee chair training to share guidelines, resources and interactive tools to enhance search committee participation.

The training sessions emphasize the importance of maintaining fair and consistent practices for the recruitment, interview and selection process; promote the importance of diversity and inclusion practices in the recruitment process; and stress confidentiality to ensure credibility throughout the search process.

Those who chair or serve on a search committee are asked to complete these pieces of training at least once during the academic year. The 2022-23 training links are now available on the HCS website and are linked below.
