Learn about animal biology and conservation at Science on Tap's trivia night

Submitted by Kansas Science Communication Initiative

Science on Tap: Animal Biology and Conservation Trivia Night will start at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Manhattan Brewing Company, 406 Poyntz Ave.

The event features a trivia night and the release of Manhattan Brewing Company's Conservation Kolsch. Join the fun and let Jared Bixby, from Sunset Zoo, and Michi Tobler, from K-State's Division of Biology, test your knowledge of animal diversity and conservation. It's free to play, and there are fun prizes for the top three teams — maximum of four people per team.

Science on Tap is held in a relaxed setting and features free informal presentations, fun activities and lively conversation about science. The goal is to build the community's enthusiasm for science in a fun and unique way. The event is offered in partnership with Kansas State University's Graduate School and Office of Engagement, Sunset Zoo and Manhattan Brewing Company.
