Security studies program application deadline reminder

Submitted by Melissa Janulis

A reminder that the first deadline for the security studies masters and doctoral programs for fall 2022 admissions is Jan. 8, 2022. More about the program is below:

Civil wars, terrorism, human rights and military intervention — there is no doubt that the issues facing our world today are extensive and complex. In the security studies program, students explore these challenges in a uniquely diverse environment, where soldiers from Fort Leavenworth's Command and General Staff College and civilians have the opportunity to learn from each other.

Study under an award-winning faculty with expertise ranging from insurgency, human rights, military alliances and security issues in Africa, East Asia and the Middle East. Graduates will obtain a strong academic foundation that prepares them for national or international work in the field or in the classroom.

If you are an advanced undergraduate student, consider applying for the security studies master's degree, or the concurrent political science bachelor's/master's degree program.

Security studies at Kansas State University is a rigorous interdisciplinary program offering master's and doctoral degrees for students interested in national security, international affairs, world politics and transnational problems.
