Student organization funding forms open

Student Governing Association student organization funding forms are open. These funds are available to all CSI registered student organizations that meet the guidelines specific to the allocation type. All funding forms can be found on the SGA OrgCentral page

Travel allocations

These funds are available to help students with transportation and lodging for educational trips. Examples include attending a conference or going to an expo.

Funding regulations include:

  • Organizations must submit requests at least 35 days in advance of travel.
  • Every organization is eligible for $100 per person up to 10 people ($1,000 max) per SGA term.
  • Organizations may only submit a maximum of two travel requests per school year.
  • Nov. 8 is the last day to apply for funding for events Dec. 1 through Feb. 15 2022. 
  • Feb. 28, 2022, is the last day to apply for funding for events April 1-Sept. 30, 2022.

These funds are available to help students bring educational opportunities to campus. Examples include space rental or speaker fees.

Funding regulations include:

  • Organizations must submit requests at least 35 days in advance of event.
  • Events must be free and open to all students.
  • Nov. 8 is the last day to apply for funding for events Dec. 1 through Feb. 15, 2022. 
  • Feb. 28, 2022, is the last day to apply for funding for events April 1-Sept. 30, 2022.

Diversity programming

These funds are available to help students promote diversity on campus. Examples include space rental, speaker fees, or travel costs.

Funding regulations include:

  • Organizations must submit requests the fiscal quarter prior to their event. Ex. spring '20 events submitted in fall '19.
  • Events must be free, open to all students and promote diversity on campus.
