Reinstated students invited to participate in SPARK program

Submitted by Student Success

The Second Opportunity for Academic Refocus at K-State, or SPARK, program is for students who earn less than a 1.0 GPA during their first semester and are reinstated to K-State.

The SPARK program will help you find academic success, stay on track for graduation and develop skills that you can use in college and your career. The SPARK program includes enrollment in an Academic Refocus student success course with embedded academic coaching and co-curricular opportunities, intentional advising and a student-focused event on resilience.

To participate in SPARK, you must complete the following steps:

  • Complete the SPARK application by Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021. The application opens Dec. 18.
  • Attend the SPARK Orientation.
  • Students will be communicated with through SSC Navigate to their official K-State email about Orientation and Enrollment details.

More information about the SPARK program and requirements can be found on the website. We hope you consider participating this program.
