Applications for SGA and university committees close tonight

Submitted by Nathan Bothwell

The application for students at-large to serve on Student Government and university committees closes at 5 p.m. today, Sept. 10. Applications must be in by this deadline to receive consideration.

Each year, the Student Governing Association is charged with appointing student representatives to a variety of university boards and committees. These committees include the Recreational Services Council, the University Library Committee, the President's Commission on the Status of Women, the Tuition and Fees Strategies Committee, the Campus Recycling Committee, and many more.

Additionally, all SGA committees have opportunities for students at-large to serve. These committees include the Travel Allocations Committee, the Privilege Fee Committee, the Governmental Relations Committee, the On-Campus Allocations Committee, and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.

For a full list of all available opportunities, please view the application. Students can apply to serve on any of these opportunities.

For any questions or comments, please reach out to Student Body President Tel Wittmer at telwittmer@k-state.edu or Speaker of the Student Senate Nathan Bothwell at ndbothwell@k-state.edu
