Free lunch with leaders from the Democratic National Committee

The K-State Young Democrats, a registered student organization, will host a free lunch with leaders from the Democratic National Committee from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, in the Big 12 Room of the K-State Student Union.

The event will be a casual discussion/Q&A format and is geared toward students and young people, but all are welcome.

Guests will include the following individuals:

  • Jaime Harrison, associate chair and senior counselor, Democratic National Committee and former chair of the South Carolina Democratic Party. 
  • Michael Blake, DNC vice chair and New York State Assembly member.
  • Ken Martin, DNC vice chair, chair of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, and president of the Association of State Democratic Chairs.
  • Alan LaPolice, Democratic candidate in Kansas' 1st Congressional District.
