Goins to perform with son of blues legend Muddy Waters

Submitted by Blakely Bunning

Wayne Goins, university distinguished professor of music, will perform as guest artist at the two-day Blues Masters at the Crossroads festival Oct. 26-27 in Salina with "Mud" Morganfield, the son of legendary Chicago blues singer/guitarist Muddy Waters.

This show features some of the most prominent blues artists across the country, including Bobby Rush, Kenny Neal and Marquis Knox. Goins also will serve as emcee for both nights, and was instrumental in bringing in Kansas State University as a major sponsor of the event.
