Let K-State Libraries’ peer research consultants make your next assignment not-so-spooky

Submitted by Sarah McGreer Hoyt

Are you staring down an assignment for a research paper? Is the prompt packed with demands for peer-reviewed sources and proper citation?

K-State Libraries' friendly peer research consultants have conquered similar research assignments many times over. Now, they're ready to help you do the same.

Schedule a free appointment if you need to

  • Explore existing research so you can focus your topic.
  • Develop search strategies to get the most out of research databases or Google Scholar.
  • Find credible sources.
  • Brainstorm what information you need and how to use it in your assignment.
  • Create in-text citations or complete a bibliography.

Just book your 30-minute session online. Then, check in for your appointment at the Library Help Desk in the K-State Student Union.

Appointments are available between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Monday through Thursday when classes are in session. This pilot program is open to all students, but it is specifically intended for undergraduates.

All of the peer research consultants are experienced Library Help Desk employees who have received intensive training.
