Celebrate Arbor Day as part of Green Week

Students for Environmental Action and the Office of Sustainability are hosting this year's Green Week, a celebration of the earth and the environment from Earth Day, April 22, to Arbor Day, April 27.

Today, the U.S. Green Building Council, Tree Campus USA and UFM Community Learning Center will be joining us in tree planting and reducing K-State's environmental impact. Check out the details of today's events below:

Arbor Day Tree Planting
10:30 a.m. April 27 at the southeast corner of Seaton Hall. 
Join Tree Campus USA by attending a tree planting on the southeast side of Seaton Hall for the Provost.

Environmental EDU and You
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 27 at K-State Student Union terrace
U.S. Green Building Council, Tree Campus USA and UFM will be on the Union terrace after the tree planting event! Learn about the various green classes available to tree saplings.

Friday Night Lights Out
Sunset April 27 across campus
Saving energy in a simple way can make a huge difference. Join us to turn off some lights on campus.
