Eligible for Federal Work Study? Apply to be an academic mentor

Submitted by Amanda Lee

Are you eligible for Federal Work Study? Do you have a passion for helping your community? The Staley School of Leadership Studies is now hiring academic mentors.

Mentors work in schools and community sites in the Greater Manhattan community, providing academic tutoring and mentoring to youth. The job requires approximately 10 hours of work per week and schedules are designed around your class schedule. Applicants from all majors are accepted. You are required to provide your own transportation to and from your site and previous experience working with youth is highly encouraged.
