Celebrate your teachers — write them a thank you on April 25 and 26

Submitted by Anne Rubash

Students and professor

Tuesday, May 9, is National Teacher Appreciation Day. Event management students in the hospitality management department would like to help students recognize K-State's teaching faculty and influential educators for their dedication to students and the community.

Join us in celebrating influential educators by writing personalized thank-you cards that will be delivered to each teacher. Event management students will have tables in the K-State Student Union and Hoffman Lounge in Justin Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, and Wednesday, April 26. Students who complete a card will receive a cookie.

K-State has more than 1,200 teaching faculty who have devoted countless hours to their students. On behalf of the hospitality management department, we would like to help the K-State community thank each one of them for their generosity.

Show your support on social media by using #KSUThankATeacher and @KstateHM.
