Architecture professor delivers lecture at Indiana University, Bloomington
Peter Magyar, professor of architecture in the College of Architecture, Planning & Design, delivered a lecture on April 15 at Indiana University, Bloomington.
Magyar was invited to the 34th Gyorgy Ranki Hungarian Chair Conference, "MA/Today — 100 Years After — The Impact of the Hungarian Avant-Garde." The title of his presentation was, "From the Bauhaus to My House — The Migration of Ideas."
On May 27, Magyar will receive the "Golden Diploma" from the Technical University of Budapest, his alma mater. It celebrates the 50th year since he received his Master of Architecture and urban design degree. Magyar was invited by the university and the Association of Hungarian Architects to give a lecture on his academic and professional achievements.
