Safe Zone sexuality and gender identity training offered Oct. 17

Submitted by Anna Waugh

Safe Zone will offer a training session from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in 113 Leadership Studies Building.

Focusing on the many aspects of sexuality and gender identity, Brandon Haddock, coordinator of the LGBT Resource Center, will examine ways that students, faculty and staff can better understand personal perceptions of sexuality and gender identity and how they can further help educate and advocate for those who identify outside of the sexuality and gender binaries.
