Kansas State Collegian to publish four days a week
In a shift to meet the consumption needs of its audience, the Kansas State Collegian will print four days a week instead of five, starting in the spring 2016 semester.
The print edition will be published Tuesday-Friday. Our online edition will continue to publish everyday covering news, features and sports about K-State daily.
The shift to online will help strengthen our journalism by providing more time for our staff to focus on our website and mobile app. The transition to digital first also helps prepare students as they learn digital techniques hands-on, skills that are in demand for modern media jobs.
The Collegian is the only student newspaper in Kansas to be named a finalist in the national 2015 Online Pacemaker Awards and also winning first place for best online main page from the national 2015 Pinnacle College Media Awards.
