K-State Student Foundation information session today, Feb. 18

Submitted by Ellen Collingwood

Are you a passionate, philanthropic-minded leader looking for a way to make an impact? Do you love K-State and yearn for a way to become more involved? K-State Student Foundation is a student organization hosted by the KSU Foundation that promotes the importance of philanthropic giving, aids in stewarding donors to the university, and most recognizably, is behind the K-State Proud campaign that has raised more than $700,000 for students. We are now accepting applications for our 2014 new member class.

If you are interested in learning more about who we are, what we do and why we do it, please join us tonight, Feb. 18, at 7 in 123 Leadership Studies Building for a short presentation, panel and Q-and-A session. Refreshments will be provided. If you are interested in attending but are unavailable at this time, please email Ellen Collingwood at ellencol@k-state.edu

Applications are online and due at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26. If you have any questions about the application process or K-State Student Foundation in general, please don't hesitate to contact Collingwood at ellencol@k-state.edu.
