Provost Taber

President Richard Linton invites the K-State community to celebrate Provost Chuck Taber's retirement on Monday, Dec. 11. The reception will be held from 3-5 p.m. at the Tointon Great Room in the K-State Alumni Center. Remarks will begin at 4:05 p.m.

Taber will retire from Kansas State University after dedicating more than three decades to higher education. His journey at K-State began in 2018 when he assumed the role of provost and executive vice president. In this capacity, Taber provided exemplary leadership, overseeing all aspects of university governance and the academic enterprise. Beyond his administrative contributions, he left an enduring legacy through his significant academic work in political psychology, public opinion and cognitive science research.

Please join us at this reception to express gratitude for Taber's immense dedication and contributions to the betterment of K-State and higher education and wish him a very happy retirement!
