Universal time and attendance system initiative update
In May, I shared that a task force was reestablished to focus on the implementation of a universitywide time and attendance system. Today, I'm excited to share an update on this initiative. The university engaged Moss Adams LLP to assist the task force in completing a current-state time and leave process review. This review will result in process maps that document current procedures, as well as recommendations for streamlining, unifying and improving time and leave administration through both system and process improvements.
The task force met with university stakeholders in July to identify process pain points and opportunities for improvement in time and leave systems. In early August, Moss Adams conducted onsite work sessions to map current time and leave processes across the university. The task force will continue to work with university stakeholders to finalize the process maps, which are expected to be complete by the end of September.
From there, we will utilize this data to establish a formal request for proposals to seek a vendor to provide a unified time and attendance system. As the project progresses through additional phases of system selection, adoption, training and implementation, we will continue to provide periodic updates.
