Provost announces reappointment of Graduate School dean
After a careful five-year-accomplishment evaluation, I am pleased to reappoint Carol Shanklin for another term of five years as the dean of the Graduate School.
Dean Shanklin has been accessible, responsive and caring in her work on behalf of graduate education over the last five years. She has worked tirelessly to improve consistency of standards and their application. She and her colleagues have enhanced the importance and value of graduate education at Kansas State University. Shanklin will work to enhance recruitment efforts and to raise funds for graduate student scholarships as she moves into her second five-year term.
