Carl R. Ice College of Engineering to host Celebrating Women in Engineering event
The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering is hosting an event to recognize the growing presence of women in engineering at 3:30 p.m. today, March 8, in 1109 Engineering Hall. The event, Celebrating Women in Engineering, will also feature a social gathering for attendees following the program.
Keynote speaker Ruth Dyer, emeritus professor of electrical and computer engineering, will present alongside current faculty members Vaishali Sharda and Doina Caragea.
The offices of Engineering Research and Graduate Programs and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging organized the event as part of Women's History Month.
