Fire extinguisher training dates for spring 2023

The environmental health and safety department suggests annual fire extinguisher training, WTD159, for all university employees. The training will be offered several times this spring.
Prior to attending the training session, participants must complete HSI Vivid's online course, Fire Extinguisher Safety.
There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Maximum attendance for each session is 15.
All sessions will take place in the training room of the Physical Facilities Storage building on the following times and dates: 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10; 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24; 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14; 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28; 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, March 14; 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, March 28; from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, April 11 and 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, April 25.
Participants may register through HRIS self-service or send an email to Megan Eakin at learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, employee ID, course number WTD159 and desired training date.
