Barb Nagel retirement celebration on Aug. 5

Submitted by Susan Cooper

Barb Nagel will retire from K-State on Aug. 12 after 21 years of service to the university.

A celebration in Nagel's honor will take place from 1-3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, in 201 Anderson Hall. Please stop by to visit with Nagel during that time if you are able, and if not, you can send retirement celebratory emails to her at bnagel@k-state.edu

Nagel started her employment in 2001 in the music department and moved to the Office of the Registrar in 2006. Nagel currently serves as the assistant registrar for student services with responsibility for student records, transcripts, graduation, commencement, enrollment, residency classification and more. She will be greatly missed in the office for many reasons, but her amazing work ethic, can-do attitude and ability to encourage and mentor staff stand out. We wish Nagel all the best in her retirement and hope she will come back and visit often to share stories of her retirement adventures with us.
