Submitted by OURCI Office

Undergraduate students participating in summer research programs in departments and units across campus will present their work during the Summer Undergraduate Research Showcase Thursday, July 28, in the K-State Student Union.

The K-State community is invited to attend the showcase and show support for these students.

Poster presentations will take place from 10-11:30 a.m. in the Main Ballroom.

Oral presentations will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in the Wildcat Chamber.

Participating summer programs include the Bridges to the Future group, Chemistry REU, Chapman Center for Rural Studies, KSRE Research Fellows, McNair Scholars Program, Research Immersion: Pathways to STEM (KS-LSAMP), and the Summer Internships in Plant Health in the plant pathology department.

The Summer Undergraduate Research Showcase is hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry. The office supports and celebrates undergraduate student researchers through a variety of programs, opportunities and public forums to engage the K-State community. Undergraduate students from all disciplines can engage with the office. Visit k-state.edu/undergradresearch to learn more about all upcoming events and opportunities.
