Clark attends data workshop

Submitted by Christie Launius

Keisha Clark, assistant professor of American ethnic studies in the social transformation studies department, participated in the Fragile Families and Child Well-Being Study Summer Data Workshop, June 22-24, at the Columbia University School of Social Work in New York City.

Clark was among a select group of early-career scholars chosen to attend the workshop through a competitive application process. The workshop is designed to familiarize participants with the data available in the Fragile Families and Child Well-being Study, a national study following a birth cohort of mostly unmarried parents and their children, providing information about the capabilities, circumstances and relationships of unwed parents, the well-being of their children, and the role of public policy in family and child well-being.
