Participate in a nutritional clinical research trial to improve your cholesterol

Submitted by Trenton Colburn

K-State researchers in the kinesiology department, food, nutrition, dietetics and health department, and Physical Activity and Nutrition Clinical Research Consortium, or PAN-CRC, are recruiting participants for a study examining the impact of daily strawberry beverage consumption on cardiovascular and metabolic health.

Participants have the opportunity to learn about their health, earn up to $140 and receive a free DXA scan.

Qualified participants who are 30 to 75 years of age, non-diabetic, non-smoking, mild-to-moderately elevated cholesterol, but are not taking cholesterol or blood pressure medication may be eligible.

If you are interested in participating, please email tcolburn@k-state.edu.

This study has been reviewed by the Institutional Review Board and received approval No. 9736.
