Fire extinguisher training dates for summer 2022

The Environmental Health and Safety Department suggests annual Fire Extinguisher Training, course WTD159, for all university employees. This training will be offered several times this summer.

Before attending this training session, you must complete a Fire Extinguisher online training course. Upon completion of the online course, you will receive a certificate. Please sign and date the printed certificate and bring it with you to the classroom training session.

There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Maximum attendance for each session is 15.

All sessions are in the training room of the Physical Facilities Storage Building on the following dates and times: 9–10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10; 1–2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24; 9–10 a.m. Tuesday, June 14; 1–2 p.m. Tuesday, June 28; 9–10 a.m. Tuesday, July 8; and 1–2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23.

Participants may register through HRIS self-service or send an email to Megan Eakin at learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, employee ID, course title WTD159 and date desired.
