Jon Mahoney to present at the Liberty and Human Rights Conference
Jonathan Mahoney, associate professor of philosophy, will present at the Liberty and Human Rights Conference, Cairo University, April 6-9.
Mahoney’s talk, "Equality and Religious Freedom," will be given on April 8 at Cairo University. He will examine the moral and practical constraints on state religious policy in post-Soviet Central Asian states and Turkey, and argues for democratic equality over state neutrality.
