K-State concludes Sexual Assault Climate Survey

Submitted by Clara Valadares Kientz

The university's Sexual Assault Climate Survey concluded on Nov. 19. The Center for Advocacy, Response and Education, or CARE, Michelle Toews, Kristin Anders and the additional members of the Sexual Violence Climate Survey Task Force wish to thank those students, faculty and staff who voluntarily participated.

The task force received 2,425 student and 1,269 faculty and staff responses. Participants who entered the drawing for one of 500 $25 gift cards will be notified via email if they won.

The goal of this survey is to provide the university with important information on campus sexual misconduct prevalence and responses. Your responses are vital to help shape strategies and design new programs to address sexual assault and violence on campus. Survey outcomes will be announced at a later date.
