Business boosters: Entrepreneurship Center recognizes faculty for support, advocacy
When it comes to supporting entrepreneurship, four Kansas State University faculty members stand out, according to K-State's Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship.
The center recognized the faculty at its annual Celebration of Entrepreneurship Banquet, April 21, at K-State. Awards and honorees included:
• Entrepreneurship Advocacy Award -- Jeff Katz, associate dean of the College of Business Administration and Edgerley Family Chair in Business Administration.
• Entrepreneurship Support Award: Betsy Barrett, associate professor of hospitality management and dietetics; Deborah Murray, instructor of English; and Karin Westman, associate professor and head of the department of English.
K-State's Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship works to bring faculty and students from across disciplines together to foster entrepreneurship on campus and in communities across Kansas.
