Waithaka Mwangi to Present Anatomy and Physiology Seminar

Submitted by Gail Eyestone

Waithaka Mwangi, professor of diagnostic medicine and pathobiology in the College of Veterinary Medicine, will present the next Anatomy and Physiology Seminar, ”Therapeutic Potential of Novel Cow-Bodies.” His presentation will be at 4:00 p.m. in the Mara Conference Center, 407 Trotter Hall.

You may enter Trotter Hall by using one of the doorbells and someone will open the door for you.

Mwangi's research program seeks to develop novel strategies for safely inducing immune protection against microbial pathogens in livestock. Major ongoing efforts are focused on the development of an African swine fever virus subunit vaccine and a broadly protective bovine viral diarrhea virus vaccine, adjuvants and diagnostic tools.
