Submitted by Zelia Wiley

To continue the dialogue of inclusion and diversity, the College of Agriculture's student leadership will present the spring 2021 student-led diversity forum, "Growing Our Mindset: A Conversation About the Importance of Diversity in the Workplace" from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, via Zoom. Meeting ID 923 2793 1866.

The student groups that will lead the event are College of Agriculture Ambassadors, Ag Student Council and the K-State Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences, or MANRRS, chapter. The forum will feature J.J Jones, founder of Roots and Legacies Consulting. Jones will discuss the importance of having inclusion, diversity and equity in the workplace. Our speaker is a College of Agriculture alumnus, former FFA Kansas state officer and the founder of his consulting agency. The event promises to be engaging and impactful yet can only be great with your participation.

Instructors, please note that we will be taking attendance of students that participate; if you require this information please contact Diversity Programs Office undergraduate assistant, Summer Smades at smades@k-state.edu
